Quality Control Assembler

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)

Job Description

The Assembler role performs manual labor including detailed checklists along a production line meeting labor rates focusing highly on quality control with direct supervision.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Complete final inspections of finished product
  • Inspect product from production to validate the workmanship, dimensions and documentation conform to the product/drawing requirements.
  • Report quality issues to all levels of the Operations team
  • Work with Supervisor and team members to resolve quality issues
  • Operate production line equipment and tools on production line while meeting standard labor rates.
  • Communicate & flex with co-workers to maintain required production line flow.
  • Accurately completes daily time cards and required production documentation.
  • Visual and mechanical inspection required. Must be able to use all equipment or gages that are required to perform the job notifying supervisor or team lead if problems are detected upon inspection.
  • Must be highly organized and process-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent listening skills and be able to handle multiple requests/tasks.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
  • May perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Manual dexterity required for using various tools and operating machinery.
  • Ability to read bill of materials and product work instructions.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
